Keep Moving…Every Step Counts

β€œThe real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” ~Marcel Proust

No doubt, Life is a bittersweet journey. The pathway of life has lots of twists and turns. Few turns lead us to the peaks where everything goes well according to our plans. We enjoy the soft, warm rays of sunshine that brings joy to the heart. We cherish every moment without any past regrets or fear of future by living in that moment and then suddenlyΒ life takes another turn it throws you a curve ball when you least expect it. Dark clouds cover the bright blue sunny sky… nothing seems to work that triggers frustration and instability. Each moment becomes challenging. We can only see the fog of doubts that delude us. Our circumstances make us stuck and stagnant.

While facing these changes, I often experience that these changes dishearten and desperate us. We start losing passion and interest towards our ambitions. Sometimes they even lead us in a new direction which is intimidating and nerve-racking. Mind and emotions play opposing roles. We get confused between choices and decisions, in such a dilemma, I felt little change in perspective plays a significant role to face the situation. Remember no one of us like hardship however it is essential to acknowledge that they cannot be avoided. It depends on us we allow these struggles to break us or by finding the meaning in hardship and chaos, we turn them into an opportunity to learn new lessons. Every intensive test will contribute to our growth in the long run.

Acceptance is indeed an important step towards moving in life. Yes, these changes are not pleasant, but they appear to serve some purpose in life. If things don’t go as plan, that’s perfectly alright as they direct us to a different experience where we discover, grow and evolve to get better. These changes are the essence of life don’t resist them. The more we resist them, the more we sabotage our happiness. Just keep yourself open to receive what life brings to you to make best out of it. Live this moment, let it pass.. keep moving to enjoy the next.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving” ~Einstein

  2. ” Just keep yourself open to receive what life brings to you to make best out of it.”

That seems pretty solid advice, Kranti. Things can get pretty ugly when we don’t stay open, flexible, I think.

I’ve never been able to discern a purpose in things, however. In my case, I’d probably be uncomfortable with one if I could discern it.

    Good post!
