Don’t Underestimate Your Value!

img_6485

“Care about people’s approval, and you will always be their prisoner.”

Accept yourself unconditionally! Stop making other people your mirror! A mirror can only show the outer reflection it can’t show your true image… who you are at your core.

When you start judging your worth through others perceptive, you lose your uniqueness. You overlook what you have. There is always a difference in how you present yourself and how others perceive you.

Remember everyone has a different life and different thoughts. It’s always easy to judge, but it’s too difficult to put yourself in someone’s shoes. If they can’t understand what you are going through then how they can decide what is best for you. Don’t beat yourself up for what you are and what others think you should be.

Your life is about you, and you are the only person responsible for it. Believe in yourself. Do whatever feels you right.. You don’t owe any explanation for the way you choose to live. Value yourself and your happiness. What matters is what exists in your heart, and it needs to be heard. Trust me, no one can write your story better than you.

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”

  1. I keep telling if you find the 1000 Rs or 10$ bill on a dirty road. You still will pick it up reason the value of 1000 Rs it 10$ does not change if you get on road or a Bank. On sale note we all have certain value which should not change who said what. A very nice note Kranti.

  2. Everything you’ve said is so true. We have to love ourselves and share that with others without worrying if they like us or not. Just share your love in your own way. It will be seen and appreciated.

  4. “Waw…” This is what came from my mouth after reading this post particularly those two quotes at the beginning and at the end… This is so powerful…

“those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”

So true indeed… One has to live for himself and not to satisfy others because at the end of the day it is you who will feel proud on yourself. It is often that people will judge you, criticize you but one has to be determined and strong and hence should not get deviated from hearsay from others.

    Very nice post Kranti… 🙂

  6. Thank you, Kranti! You’re beautiful words were exactly those which I needed to read today. They are the cutting tools to release us from the chains of people-pleasing at the expense of our own happiness. These are sparkling thoughts, indeed.

  7. A great advice! Sometimes we get so into trying to please loved ones and family we forget to take a step back and appreciate who we are and our uniqueness.
It then becomes harder and harder to say “no” to them and we slowly lose ourselves and jeopardize our happiness.
Our voice matters, & it’s doesn’t have to align with what others think of us.
    Lovely reminder.
